This grassroots film, a bluegrass rendition of Verdi’s opera set in and around Peterborough and starring local actors and musicians, was shot during the annual folk festival. It won “Best Originality” at Kentucky, Tennessee’s Bluegrass Independent Film Festival in 2006.
