In creating this video, I was concerned with matching the style of their branding and I wanted to deliver their design in motion. I emphasized quick cuts and zooms with the still photographs to match the high energy of the music.

One of my most cherished VJ gigs was the opportunity to do live visuals for Big Bear (from A Tribe Called Red) who was one of the guest DJs at Kubo in the 2009 edition of the festival.

FROM THE FESTIVAL: From June 20-24, 2012, more than 100 Indigenous artists, musicians, and performers will gather in Peterborough, Ontario for the 5th annual Ode’min Giizis Festival. An international lineup of artists from Canada, the U.S., and Cuba will expand our imaginations and dreams while pushing the boundaries of their art forms.
