Archive Showcase

Andrew and Paul Ledoux conceptualize and design architectural creations using detailed decorative pieces made from materials such as cast stone, plaster, and concrete. I have known them for a very long time. This has given me access to document their beautiful work and show what happens behind-the-scenes during construction.

A page from a book designed by LA on Andrew Ledoux’s interior and exterior work.

There are a few glimpses you can see of me, Hitchcock-cameo-style, blink and you might miss me. I edited to a rhythm track while Tammy Foreman worked on the music from the click track. After I got the final sound mix, I edited the video further to make a seamless little short documentary of the brothers at work on a typical job site.

The owner of the house also makes a brief appearance here. I can’t believe the internet didn’t have this file sooner. I’m still being astonished by what I’m discovering from the archive. This one is another surprising little gem.

More soon so stay tuned! —LA
