It’s Day 65 of uploads, today’s offering is a video invitation to Public Energy’s 25th anniversary in Peterborough, Ontario. The P(art)y Ball called for a big celebration of art and artists. And, of course, there was an official afterparty held at The Theatre on King that night where I video-mixed in a live-performance the twenty-five years of performance documentation footage they had accumulated over the years. Backed by VJ Paul Moss with beats by (DJ) Fever, it was a fun memorable night for many.

My collaboration with Deepti Gupta, Static, was remounted especially for The P(art)y Ball event. Thank you, Bill Kimball, for being an example. I’m a flashlight right now giving you your handheld limelight. You’re an impressive impresario. Thank you for giving us awards that night with an original copper art piece by Joe Stable. If anyone really deserves an award it’s you. Thanks for your decades of commitment to bringing great performing arts to Peterborough and supporting local ones.

P.S. If you’re liking these daily posts, perhaps you can consider becoming a monthly donor for a year or making a one-time contribution. It would seriously help a lot. Your money goes directly into supporting an artist committed to continually become the best version of himself. Thank you so much! Much love, LA
